Hi, I am Fabio Valente and I am a modern, classical and baroque bassoonist. Since I was fifteen, I started making my own reeds and what at the time was just a need has now become one of my main passions and activities. Therefore, I am selling my own reeds since a few years and recently I have been appointed as lector for bassoon reedmaking at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. This website was created to allow any customer to place orders more easily, as well as to show all the available options of every product at once.

Reeds are made with selected canes coming from Greece, Spain, Italy. The density of every piece is checked before being chosen and all reeds are tested multiple times once finished in order to be ready to play when sent to customers.
